William Control - Sex Cult Vol.1

After a three year hiatus, the electonic/synth pop/rock solo act of former Aiden singer, William Control, is back in action. Today he released "Sex Cult Vol.1", which is a great album, though very short. I know I was definitely surprised back on Halloween when he dropped the first single, but being a fan of his for a long time, I was very excited and am now very glad that it led to an album. This is just twenty minutes of raw emotion and bad ass dance music. It's blatantly clear that this album is all about helping him heal himself after a lot of shit he's gone through. But that was sort of to be expected. His voice sounds as fantastic as ever. "Baptized" and "Abuse" are my favorite tracks. I'm absolutely shocked that the pre-sale of this album sold out so quickly. It was gone within a day. That's crazy! I enjoyed this immensely, but I'm sad it was only twenty minutes long. I hope he releases a full length album sometime soon. I definitely recommend checking this out. It's great! ~Gangis
