Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff - Nightmare on My Street

The Fresh Prince and horror. Two things most people didn’t think go hand in hand, but the duo of Will Smith and Jazzy did a crazy tune entitled NIGHTMARE ON MY STREET back in the late 80s. And if you think that sounds like something off an Elm Street soundtrack…you’d be almost right. The song was considered to be on the official soundtrack of Elm Street 4....but the producers decided to go elsewhere. Hindsight is 20/20..who would have turned down Agent J ahead of his prime? The song itself is catchy...with a nice smooth rap tune and eerie Halloween-ish background music. Be sure to watch the music video to get the full effects…literally. Some good makeup effects for its time. Check it out.
