What if Type O Negative wrote 4th Of July by Soundgarden - Denis Pauna (Cover Review)

Type O cover artist master Denis Pauna is back again with another classic song done in that dark gothic doom sound we all know and love. Today, he released a re-imagined version of "4th Of July" by Soundgarden in the style of Type O Negative. This is without a doubt one of the best ones he's done so far. It sounds like a completely different song, but has just enough references to the original to still be recognizable. I don't know if he has some sort of way to contact Peter beyond the grave, a ouija board or something, but he must be consulting him somehow. The way he's able to get inside Peter's head and come up with exactly the same thing he would have is incredible. I don't know how he does it. But he definitely is able to perfectly capture the essence of Type O like nobody else. This is a cover worth checking out, and then listening to on repeat. It's so good.
