Vintersea - Crack of Light

I just checked out the single "Crack of Light" off Vintersea's new album "Illuminated". Holy shit! It starts off with some beautiful female clean vocals, then we get some growls, an epic saxophone solo, and then some acoustic Spanish sounding guitar, and to finish it off, we got some guttural chanting. Out of all of it, that saxophone solo was really unexpected, I haven't heard a sax played like that since Tim Capello's last album. I love it! Despite the odd assortment of elements, this comes together to form a very cohesive and absolutely beautiful song. I enjoyed it immensely! I also really liked the music video, it was very well shot with some absolutely gorgeous scenery and costumes and eveything. It's fantastic! ~Gangis
