Creepshow (1982)

80's. Leslie Nielsen. Ted Danson. A dancing Ed Harris. No...this isn't a hidden forgotten Naked Gun sequel...this is one of the best powerhouses of all anthologies to emerge out of the horror genre...CREEPSHOW! Creepshow brings 5 unique stories to the big screen and is filmed to look like a comic come to life, not unlike Tales From the Crypt. Regardless of what your biggest fears or phobias are, there is probably a variation of that used in one of the stories shown onscreen. The dead coming back to life? Check out 'Father's Day' segment. Contracting a weird disease? Steven King pulls that off wonderfully in 'The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill.' Drowning? Leslie Nielsen helps with that in 'Something to Tide You Over.' Animal attack? 'The Crate' will visualize that for you. And bugs creep you out? 'They're Creeping Up on You' caps off the movie with an image that will stay in your retinas. Creepshow is often duplicated, never imitated, and there's a reason for that. Don't forget to refersh your viewings often to show you are are a serious slash-worthy horror fanatic.
