The ugliest fucking doll ever.

Dolly Dearest is one of those lovely gems i found in an old video store when i was a kid. I picked it up, being a big fan of doll horror. I was also a huge chucky fan and of course being as that was, i compared it to that which was a terrible idea. It ended with me being totally disappointed. The creep factor of the movie was spot on and started the same way as child's play. Slight movements here and there and slight whispers giving you a major creep factor. But when it cam down to being game time, only two meager deaths. Both deaths came with some great parts, great dialogue with some funny one liners but compared to chucky it wasn't there. The effects on the doll were amazing. Especially the dolls facial expressions were nothing short of amazing. The story line was there, but the complete lack of bloody kills, really no blood factor at all was kinda a major bummer. Over all a decent movie, id watch it mainly for the special effects work with dolly is the greatest part of the movie.
