The Ominous!!!

Chicago based thrash/death metal band Her Worst Nightmare released "The Ominous EP" earlier this year. It's 15minutes of brutal fuckin' metal!!! It's like thrash guitars with both some classic thrash style and some deep growly death metal vocals, and it's super badass. I enjoyed every minute of it! I also have to mention the cover art. It's really interesting and looks like it was drawn by someone whose possessed or deeply mentally disturbed. Which, given the subject matter and lyrics of the songs, that's probably the goal. I really enjoyed this one, and look forward to whatever they put out next. ~Gangis
