The Offspring - Let The Bad Times Roll

Punk / alt rock superstars The Offspring released a new single last week titled "Let The Bad Times Roll". This song comes off of their new album of the same title that's being released on April 16th. First of all, I didn't know that they were working on a new album, much less that they were even still together. They haven't put anything out, I'm pretty sure, since 2012, so it's really nice to see them doing another album. This is an upbeat and sorta happy sounding song, despite the lyrics being sort of pessimistic, and I really like it! It's got sort of their classic Offspring sound, but it's definitely fresh and new. It's got a great mix of acoustic and electric guitar, fantastic vocals, and a great fading ending. I also thought the video was really cool. It shows the band playing, cut with footage of current goings on in the world with some old cartoony cgi type elements. I enjoyed this one a lot, and I'm definitely looking forward to the album. ~Gangis
