The Immortals -Techno Syndrome (Mortal Kombat)

If you’re a fan of the franchise, there’s no way you don’t know this classic jam. Technically titled ‘Techno Syndrome,' this tune was first released on Mortal Kombat: The Album…which was a collection of songs dedicated to each character based on the original game. It reached cult status when it was used in the movies but the album actually came out a year before the first movie...and is somewhat considered a Kollector's item. The movie then adopted the song as the base for its soundtrack and the rest is history. If you’re a fan of techno in general, you should be able to rock out to this tune. Though I’d classify it as more rock/techno as the beat slows down to recite lyrics repeating each character's name, then speeds up again to some kick-ass beats. A Klassic in its own right and deserved in its place in soundtrack history.
