The Cure - Burn

While not considered the pinnacle of the 90s alt/grunge/rock albums, it probably gets left behind because it's a soundtrack compilation of various artists. Which is unfair because most, if not all, songs on this one emphasize the mood and feelings that the movie THE CROW emulates. The Cure's contribution to this, 'Burn' is different than their other medleys in that we get a tune with some strong rock themes and lyrics that make it a great place for Lee's last film. Maybe not the best band song ever written, but darn if it doesn't capture the themes almost as good as 'Dead Souls.' Take a listen.
