Sometimes it pays to Slack off…..

While being stuck in the airport after a long vacation I stumbled upon Slackwater beer from Port Orleans Brewing. It was wonderful!! It had a rich mahogany color in the glass with not much of a head on it. But that also could have been the location making sure I had a full glass of beer. LOL I found myself in a great conversation with the bartender about the brewery along with samples of other beers from them. I have to say this was by far my favorite. You got hits of malt, brown sugar and a touch of coffee (for me). I was surprised at how light it was for being a darker beer, this would be one to drink on a hot day for sure.
