Somebody That I Used to Know

Remember that song from one hit wonder Gotye in 2011 that was played to death? Last month rock band Three Days Grace released a cover of "Somebody That I Used to Know", taking that well known, super simple song, and making it something somewhat heavy and absolutely great. This cover starts off true to the source material, but builds and adds some electric guitar and bass riffs, and turns the original melody into a synth sound in the background, and I absolutely love it. It's everything a cover song should be. It's got everything that makes it related to the original song, but adds their own elements and makes it so much more complex and interesting, and in my opinion, better. Go check it out! ~Gangis
