Soilwork - A Whisp of The Atlantic

Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork released "A Whisp of The Atlantic", a single off their new EP of the same name today. This is one of the longest songs I've listened to in a long time! But it's really good and able to keep my attention the entire time. It starts out with a beautifully melancholy piano piece, which becomes a pretty heavy song. It's exciting enough to make me want to hear the entire thing, which is impressive enough on it's own. As the song goes on it gets more intense, before turning into a jazz piece at the end, which was very unexpected. Jazz? Really? I mean it's good, I just totally didn't see it coming. I definitely enjoyed this song, and I'm going to have to check out the rest of the EP. ~Gangis
