New Sevendust!!!

American rock band Sevendust just released their new album "Blood and Stone". Wow! This album is great! This isn't a band I'm very familiar with, but I'm loving what I'm hearing. The lyrics are all very emotional and I feel like they're relatable to a lot of people. This band also has a great sound with some heavy and some softer songs. The best way I can describe them is like alternative rock with some nu metal and metalcore type elements. They remind me a lot of Archers. I really like it. My favorite track on the album is "Desperation", it's a bit heavier of a song, and I really enjoyed it. Their cover of "The Day I Tried to Live" by Soundgarden is absolutely fantastic. It takes the song and puts it into their own style a bit, but also remained true to the source, and it's done really well. Also, that song fits like perfectly into their singers' vocal range, it was a great choice. It's so good. I definitely recommend checking out this album. ~Gangis
