Mortal Kombat - Techno Syndrome (2021)

MORTAL KOMBAT! You can't call yourself a fan if you don't know the original techno main theme from the 90s. After almost 25 years, we finally get a new movie and in the spirit of things, we get an updated, modernized version of the techno song (from The Immortals) we all know and love. Is it as good? Wellllll...it is nice to have an updated version and you can't have a new Kombat film without the iconic theme but it's not quite the original. A faster tempo, the instrumentals seem to bleed into each other more than the original, and definitely some more 'boom.' was added. May come down to personal preference but the original is so iconic it would be almost impossible to top. Still, give it a try.
