Moon Circle - Halloweed EP

Just checked out the EP Halloweed by a band called Moon Circle which came out the day before Halloween. They seem to be a doom metal / hard rock band from France, and they've out out a few other EPs and albums, which I will have to check out. That's about all the information I can find about them. I'm not familiar with them at all, but I really enjoyed this EP. One thing I found really interesting is that this EP very heavily focuses on the instruments and not so much on the vocals. It's an interesting way of doing things that I thought was neat. The intro and first track are very doom/sludge and slow. The final track "Halloweed" is a lot more upbeat and has some punk elements to it. I thoroughly enjoyed all thirteen minutes of this EP and definitely recommend checkin it out. ~Gangis
