Monster Magnet - Mr.Destroyer

Hard / stoner / psychedelic rock band Monster Magnet dropped a new single today titled "Mr.Destroyer" off of their new album of covers "A Better Dystopia", which is coming out on May 21st. This is a cover of a song from 1972 by Poobah. I'd never heard the original before, so I checked it out. First of all, I'm surprised how much Monster Magnet's singer's voice is similar to that of the singer for Poobah. The video is really cool. It's a brightly colored psychedelic cartoon that wouldn't make sense unless I was on something. I really like it. They were able to perfectly capture the sound of the original song. It's really well done. I enjoyed this a lot, and I'm looking forward to the album. ~Gangis
