Manowar - Battle Hymn

Manowar is a unique heavy metal band in that their lyrics revolve around the fantasy/mythology/sword-wielding genre that is popular today as it ever was, though the band itself has been around for decades. Don’t mistake that description for something cheesy though; their tunes belt out with great vocals and you can almost visualize an army running into its enemy ‘Braveheart’ style when having their playlist going. If you’re new to this group, their tune ‘Battle Hymn’ is a great introductory piece. Not too heavy, but the lyrics are classic fighting and destruction along with some steady instrumentals. Give it a listen.
