Kråkslott - The Witchhammer

Swedish stoner/doom metal group Kråkslott dropped their new EP earlier this week titled "The Witchhammer". This EP is nineteen minutes of pure sludgey doom badassery. I enjoyed it a lot! It has some killer distorted guitar solos, some classic doom style chord progression, heavy fuzzy bassline, and some great vocals. One thing of note is that it oficially only has two tracks, but each one could easily be divvied up into a few songs. I've always thought that was an interesting way to do things. I especially liked the later half of "Ritual Of Lies", it's just so good. I love this EP and I'm definitely going to have to check out anything else this band has put out. ~Gangis
