I Don't Wanna Be Me by Modern Mimes

I just found the cover of Type O Negative's "I Don't Wanna Be Me" by Modern Mimes. Being a lifelong Type O fan, I had to check it out, and I'm surprised I hadn't stumbled across it before now. It's so well done! While the original is fast paced and full of more anger type emotions, Modern Mimes takes it and makes it a slow paced very morose song. I love it! It definitely has qualities that are an homage to how Type O did covers in a similar way, taking upbeat songs and slowing them down. The singer of Modern Mimes has a wonderful voice too. This cover though, just hit the nail on the head. They took every defining element from the original song, including the guitar riffs, and added them kind of like an accent piece ontop of the somewhat monotonous bass and piano.
