Halocene - The Red (Chevelle Cover)

Earlier this week, rock group Halocene dropped a video for their cover of "The Red" originally by Chevelle off of their EP "Vita Nova". I've been a fan of the original song pretty much since it came out, so I was definitely intrigued when I found out that Halocene had done a cover and had to check it out. This is an absolutely perfect cover. I love it! The biggest difference between the this and the original is having a girl doing a lot of the vocals, which is something I really enjoyed. Her voice is beautiful and it goes really well with the male singer. The guitar and basslines are absolutely on point. I think this is definitely one of the best covers I've ever heard. The music video is fantastic! The fact that the band does all their own stuff is really impressive, especially having such a high quality sound and music video. I highly recommend checking it out. ~Gangis
