Dog Chasing Sun - Phantasm Main Theme

I just stumbled across a doom metal cover of the main theme from the Phantasm movies by Dog Chasing Sun. Phantasm has always been one of my favorite series, and it has such an iconic theme. Doom is also one of my favorite subgenres, so I definitely had to check this out. Wow!!!! I absolutely love this!!!! First of all, this is a one man band, which is impressive enough on its own. But he absolutely nailed the Phantasm theme. It's easily recognizable with the main melody being done in on what sounds like a bells on a keyboard, but he took a lot of the background sounds and translated them into that deep sludgy bass sound, and added a fantastic guitar riff near the end. I thought this was incredibly well done! I enjoyed it immensely, and I highly recommend checking it out. ~Gangis
