Death Angel Got Bowiefied

When I heard that American thrash metal band was doing an acoustic EP called Under Pressure, I was little skeptical about them covering the classics, but wow... I am completely blown away. Their cover of "Under Pressure" sent chills down my spine and put a tear in my eye. It is absolutely amazing. They perfectly captured both the sound and spirit of the 1981 Bowie/Mercury song. It's also just so different from their usual thrash sound that I had to do a double take to make sure it was the same band. It's always amazing to hear melodic beautiful things like this from heavy bands. I love it. I'll definitely be checking out the rest of the EP. ~Gangis
