Deadfast Club

I just checked out the film "Deadly Detention". What do you get when you cross The Breakfast Club with an 80s slasher? We've got the popular boy, the skater girl, the slut, the athlete, and the Bible thumper. Add an unexpected heroine and a psychopath, and you get this film. The entire premise is kind of hilarious and unrealistic. Nobody would let their kids serve detention in an abandoned insane asylum. It just wouldn't happen. Otherwise, this was pretty good. Wish the kill scenes had been more graphic, but it is what it is. Parts of this film were hilarious, but it also had some great character development and suspense. I definitely did not expect it to end the way it did. I definitely enjoyed it and think it's worth a watch. ~Gangis
