Dark Tranquillity - Moment

Earlier this week, Swedish melodic metal band Dark Tranquillity released their new album "Moment". This album is absolutely fantastic! I saw this band live a couple years back and thought they were pretty good, so I've been looking forward to this album. This album though is even better than I expected. Each song has some great different sounds but they all definitely fit together to form a cohesive album. I especially like "Remain in the Unknown" and "In Truth Divided" because they have such a beautiful sound. All I could think of is like Five Finger Death Punch or Disturbed. The sound is just so deep and powerful and soft and I absolutely love it. Their singer is great at heavier growly type vocals, but I adore when he does softer vocals. His voice is incredible. I also really enjoyed "Empires Lost to Time", because it also stood out on the album. It has an almost folk metal heroic sound to it which I really liked. This album just has so many different elements and sounds to it and they're all so well done. I love this album. Check it out! ~Gangis
