Crippled Black Phoenix - Painful Reminder

Progressive/Post/Alternative rock band Crippled Black Phoenix released a new single today, a cover of SNFU's "Painful Reminder" off of their "Painful Reminder / Dead is Dead" EP that comes out on July 16th. I really enjoyed this song. The original song has a deep thudding bass throughout and is a bit heavier, while this is a lot more mellow and sort of upbeat sounding, despite the morose lyrics This song focuses a lot on the instruments and less on the vocals, which I think sounds great and is a good choice. I think this is a very well done cover, and is absolutely beautiful. ~Gangis
