Bashing Brains in With Anal Beads??

Teen angst meets demonic pandemonium in this underrated metal infused horror comedy. Deathgasm. It's basically the classic "plays mysterious sheet music which summons demons" but with lots of sex, gore, practical effects, and hilarity. In this film, it's a highschool metal band "Deathgasm" who steal some old sheet music from a rock legend and decide to play it. It turns out not only to be a badass instrumental piece of gothic doom metal, but it summons the king of demons who takes over the town. After the sheet music is lost, the kids must hack and slash their way through their possessed townsfolk to recover the sheet music and play the song backwards before it's too late. They use some creative weapons like paintball guns shooting D&D dice, dildos, and yes, even anal beads.

I absolutely love this movie. It's got just the right amount of gag jokes, practical effects, and badass kill scenes. It's hilarious, creepy at times, and has a great soundtrack. One other thing I have to mention is the great theme that in a way metal releases your soul and your potential, and also in some ways saves you from demons. I feel like this isa theme that a lot of metalheads can relate with. I really can't say enough good things about it. It's one of my favorites. Seems like a lot of people aren't familiar with this one, but I absolutely recommend checking it out, whether you're a nerd, a metalhead, or a horror lover, there's something in this movie for all of you. ~Gangis
