Assemble The Chariots - Empress

Finnish extreme metal group Assemble The Chariots dropped a new single yesterday titled "Empress". This song is crazy! It's symphonic, deathcore, djent, and black metal all rolled into one cohesive sound. It's super brutal and so well done. I wouldn't have thought that trumpets and other horned instruments would sound good with extreme metal, but they definitely work well. There's also a melodic guitar line buried within all the growls, screams, and crashing drums, and it's really good. I enjoyed this a lot. It's so heavy, and so different. The music video is really action packed and spacey, and interesting to watch. It also fit the music really nicely. This was a cool song, I definitely recommend checking it out.
