ALIEN WEAPONRY - Tangaroa (Single Review)
New Zealand based thrash/groove metal group Alien Weaponry dropped a new single the other day titled "Tangaroa". This song is great! The riffs are super hard and a bit fuzzy. The drums are crashing. The vocals are fantastic. I love how in some parts there's layering on the vocals, it sounds really nice. The music video is awesome! It takes place underwater, which I feel like is something you don't see a lot. We see the band playing, some badass ocean life including a hammerhead shark and an octopus. Towards the end the singer is stuck in a fishing net and a storm rolls in. I think this video is so different than anything else I've seen recently, it's bad ass. I definitely hope they release some behind the scenes stuff on how they made it. I enjoyed this immensely, and I highly recommend checking it out. ~Gangis
