A Pale Horse Named Death - Shards Of Glass (Single Review)

Doom/gothic metal group A Pale Horse Named Death dropped a new single yesterday off of their upcoming "Infernum In Terra" album that's being released on September 24th. "Shards Of Glass" is just shy of five minutes of doomy gloomy beauty. You can really hear the 90's goth metal influence on their sound in this one, especially in the way they did the guitar slide and all the distortion and the ending. I absolutely love the guitar solo. This song is just so chill though, and is really a perfect one to sit and light up a bowl and just vibe. It's very melancholy sounding in the instruments, which really help tell the sad story in the lyrics. I really think that this album is setting up to be something special and I am looking forward to it very much. I definitely recommend checking this song out. ~Gangis
